1. Information Collection and Use

Information you provide in the App

Scribbo does not require an account to play. However, the App may process information you enter or generate during gameplay, such as:

• nickname or username
• avatar selection or avatar URL
• chat messages, guesses, and custom words entered during gameplay
• messages you send to us if you contact support

Information used automatically

To provide multiplayer gameplay, preferences, app stability, and ads, the App may use or process:

• a locally generated player identifier used to support reconnection during active sessions
• app preferences stored on your device, such as sound, vibration, and avatar settings
• device and diagnostic information used by the App, Android, and integrated SDKs
• advertising identifiers and app interaction data used by ad and consent SDKs

Some information, such as nickname, avatar, chat messages, guesses, and custom words, may be visible to other players in the same room as part of the App's multiplayer functionality.

2. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services and SDKs to support advertising, consent management, avatar delivery, and app functionality.

• Google Play Services: Used for Android app functionality and platform services. Google Privacy Policy
• Google AdMob: Used to serve advertisements. AdMob may process information such as advertising identifiers, IP address, app interactions, device information, and diagnostics for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Where required by law, personalized advertising is only served after obtaining your consent through the Google UMP consent dialog. You can review or change your ad-consent preferences at any time via the App's Privacy Settings menu. If consent is not granted, non-personalized ads may still be shown. AdMob Privacy Details
• Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): Used to request and manage ad-consent choices where required by applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA). The consent dialog is presented on first launch and can be accessed again from the App's Privacy Settings menu.
• DiceBear or similar avatar content providers: Used to load player avatar images selected in the App.
• Local multiplayer and networking components: Used to create, join, and synchronize active game rooms over local network connections.

3. How information is used

We may use information covered by this policy to:

• create and join multiplayer rooms
• identify players inside an active match
• display player names, avatars, chat, guesses, scores, and room activity
• support reconnection and in-session game flow
• show ads and manage consent choices where required
• monitor stability, diagnose bugs, and improve the App
• enforce gameplay rules, fair use, and safety-related features

4. User-Generated Content and Moderation

Scribbo is a drawing and guessing game where players submit usernames, chat messages, custom word lists, and drawings. To help keep the experience safe and appropriate for all users, the App uses the following safeguards:

• Automated profanity filtering is applied to usernames and chat messages before they are broadcast to other players. Messages containing prohibited content are rejected server-side.
• Players can report other players or specific messages using the in-game report feature. Reports are reviewed by the Scribbo moderation team and may result in a player being removed or banned from the App.
• Players can vote to kick a disruptive player from the room without moderator involvement.
• Players can block other players to prevent seeing their content.

Submitted reports may include the reporter's username, the reported player's username, the reported message or reason, and the room context. This information is used solely for moderation and safety purposes and is not shared with third parties.

5. Data sharing and retention

We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with service providers and SDK partners that help operate the App, ads, consent management, avatar delivery, and related technical services. Multiplayer room information is primarily used during active sessions. Data stored locally on your device remains until you clear app storage, change settings, or uninstall the App.

6. Children's Privacy

Scribbo is intended for users aged 13 and older. The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Ad serving in the App is configured with a maximum content rating of G (general audiences). Personalized advertising requires explicit consent through the Google UMP consent dialog and is not enabled by default for new users.

If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information through the App, please contact us at hello@pengwings.com and we will promptly review and delete any such information.

7. Network and security

We take reasonable steps to protect the App and related services. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Scribbo may use local network communication between devices on the same Wi-Fi or hotspot, and some local multiplayer traffic may not be encrypted in transit.

8. Your choices and data deletion

Depending on your device and region, you may be able to:

• change your nickname and avatar inside the App
• review or update ad-consent choices through the App's privacy settings
• reset locally stored preferences by clearing app storage on your device
• contact us with privacy or support questions

Data Deletion Requests

You can request deletion of any data associated with your use of the App at any time. To submit a request, use the Request Data Deletionoption in the App's menu, or email us directly at hello@pengwings.com with the subject Data Deletion Request – Scribbo. We will process your request within 30 days.

Upon a verified deletion request, we will delete any server-side data associated with your session, including submitted reports linked to your player identifier. Data stored locally on your device (nickname, avatar, preferences, and player key) can be removed immediately by clearing app storage or uninstalling the App. Note that anonymised or aggregated data not linked to an individual may be retained for operational purposes.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this policy periodically for any changes. Changes are effective when they are posted on this page.
